Our Community
Local schools are central in the life of a village, and Elm School
recognises the responsibilities that come with that position.
We aim to foster links with as many organisations and individuals as
possible and to contribute to their activities and invite them to contribute
to ours.
We enjoy holding services at All Saints Church in the village at Harvest
Festival, Christmas and Easter.

At
our Harvest Festival all the classes contributed to a thanksgiving display
at the front of the church.
The children raised money through decorating harvest envelopes. School
Council decided that the money would be shared equally between the World
Wildlife Fund and the Residents Amenities Fund at our local residential care
home for the elderly, Strathmore House. We raised over £250.
As a Church of England school, we also enjoy taking part in events organised
through the Diocese of Ely. Here we are at Ely Cathedral taking part in a
worship service with children from about 15 other schools.
