This half term we have thought a lot about how to be good learners.
We have worked really hard to listen well, to settle quickly to our work and to know when we are making progress.
We have worked in pairs and groups, working on maths investigations and science challenges.
We have also used role play and interviews to help us understand the texts we have been reading in Literacy. The poem “The Highwayman” was a great favourite with us all, and we have all enjoyed finding out about life on board a Tudor ship.
It’s been a great start in Year 5 and we have all learned a lot – including that learning is fun!
